    WEEE recycling experts in
    Camberley

Stream Shredding offers complete WEEE recycling, collection and disposal services for secure and
non-secure redundant I.T./ electrical equipment in Camberley and across Surrey.

    A complete service

Recycling – We can recycle laptop, monitors, PCs, printers, servers, keyboards, cables, CPUs, telephone systems, hard disk drives, tapes, software, electronics and more.

Collection –  We collect the items within 1-5 working days of the receipt of order. Our uniformed, security-cleared employees will collect from your premises at a pre-arranged time to suit you. All material is transported directly to Stream Shredding’s premises for processing.
WEEE document and reporting –  Any company disposing of redundant I.T. equipment is required by law to create and retain full waste transfer documentation. Stream Shredding will supply all such documentation and ensure its correct completion. Full compliance is guaranteed. We also offer an itemised asset-tracking option that captures barcodes and model details presented in the client’s preferred format as an integral part of our Certificate of Destruction.
Secure hard drive destruction – All hard drives and other data-sensitive pieces undergo a security drilling process which is carried out on our premises. We favour the drilling process as it guarantees absolute destruction of the item, unlike degaussing which is proven to be not 100% effective and offers no physical evidence of destruction. A Certificate of Destruction is automatically issued upon completion.
Recycling associated items – We will collect and recycle all items associated with I.T. clearance such as cable, server cabinets, racking, furniture etc.

    Disposal

    • WEEE recycling – all component material is stripped and recycled to the exact requirements of the current WEEE directive.
    • Secure data destruction – where redundant equipment may contain residual data, we will seek customers’ specific instructions and potential data-sources not subject to such instructions will be destroyed by any method considered appropriate; this may include drilling, shredding or security incineration. A Certificate of Destruction is supplied upon completion of the process.

    Charges

Some non-hazardous redundant I.T. equipment attracts a sell-on value which will always be used to offset the costs of collection. Our clients’ final statement will depend entirely on the items that have been processed and the logistical arrangements for collection. We will always be able to give a very accurate indication prior to collection.

Based in Camberley, we serve clients across Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and South West London. Get in touch with us now to find out more.
